The first leg of SXSW, the "interactive" portion of the festival dealing with emerging technology, media trends, and social advancements, is just about done. Social media moguls, content creators, and developers have had their say on the future of mankind, and the "film" portion is still well underway. But the real highlight of SXSW, for casual visitors at least, is the "music" portion, which will begin on Tuesday.
This year, close to 2,000 bands and musicians will attend the festival, from big names like Bruce Springsteen, The Magnetic Fields, and Talib Kweli, to lesser-known cult artists like Com Truise, Neon Trees, and Hellogoodbye. Last year hosted Duran Duran, The Strokes, and the Wu-Tang Clan. But in reality, anyone could show up, from artists to actors to innovators. It's kind of a pop culture free-for-all with scheduled events on the side. But it's got us wondering: Is SXSW more business or pleasure?

RIP Leslie
RIP, weird and awesome.
From the bagel vendor's cart at 6th and Guadalupe or a pizza joint near the campus. Everyone stands to make some money off this. Originally, it was the music but where there people, there is money to be made. Sorry, college liberals but its true!!
Capitalism is great and you are feeding it by simply buying a ToFu hot dog and a green tea from downtown cart. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
