Is Selena Gomez boring?

I don't have anything against her but this is my opinion.
Yes, I know she's done activism to help young kids.
But she's mostly praised because she maintained some squeeky clean persona, not anything else. That's always the focus with her. (Although she's been looking "sexy" lately I'm surprised people haven't complained.)
Other than that she's mediocre and kind of weak as a live singer. I'll admit SG & The Scene's "Kiss & Tell" was actually quite good, but after that the music has turned into plain dance pop.
