NBA legend and former Indiana Pacers guard Reggie Miller can finally call himself a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer. Miller for whatever reason, didn't make the cut last year, despite huge support from fans and the media. Others however, have said Miller, is a bit overrated. Whether he's overrated or underrated, he is now going to be part of the Hall of Fame.
Miller is a five-time All-Star, which might sound tame for a Hall of Famer, but his legendary clutch shots against the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers in various playoff series will be etched in the minds of long-time basketball fans for years to come -- if not forever. His career average in points per game is 18.2 with a nearly 94-percent free throw average and 40-percent three point average.
The Hall of Fame inductees include Miller himself, two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Katrina McClain, referee Hank Nichols, All-American Red Heads (female version of Harlem Globetrotters), Don Barksdale, Lydija Alexeeva, Jamaal Wilkes, Ralph Sampson, Mel Daniels, Chet Walker, and Nike founder Phil Knight. The induction ceremony for Reggie Miller is set for September 7 in Springfield, Mass. Do you think he deserves it?
