- Havebntohvn 2012/08/12 05:25:35No, your SOL kid+1My daughter is 23 and has been playing the guitar...electric and non since she was about 12 and got a bit into the local music industry when she was 14. So I know 15 dollars for 5 hours bites. That is not even 1/2 of minimum wage. If you were actually hired to play for five hours, you got taken big time.reply

eh i did it out of fun anyways. and im 14 there really isnt much for me to buy except food.reply - Havebnt... Trevor ... 2012/08/12 05:47:23
Still I know what it is like from watching my daughter. That is a very long time. Unless you are entertaining for your relatives that may not have much money, otherwise I agree with Dee's comment. You may be 14 now but soon you'll be able to drive and you could be saving up money for a car, college, or something major in your life.reply -
+1right I know. I know i still have to do this and that. I am lso going to workin part time and it was a lil kids birthday. My ambitions are to bring joy, happiness and imagination to the world. If I made one person smile, just one, i can die happyreply - Havebnt... Trevor ... 2012/08/12 06:26:47
+1You know what, good for you! You are still very young and don't need to work your booty off for money. Just enjoy life while you can, make others happy and have a great time doing it with whatever you are doing. You are so very right! Ya did want our opinions though. =0)reply -
+1I know, and i apreciate every last one. Im sorry if I offended you in anyway, but it was a pleasure talking with you.reply - Havebnt... Trevor ... 2012/08/12 06:57:00
+1No you didn't you're cool. Very mature for 14. It was nice talking to you too.reply - Dee 2012/08/12 04:33:55Yeah, its alright.+2It's ok, but I would have given you $100 tip for 5 hours. Entertaining at a party isn't easy and if you were an instrumental (no pun intended) part in making the party a success, you deserve it!reply

- Hirnungah Mancandy 2012/08/12 03:51:33Yeah, its alright.+2as long as it's in addition to a reasonable pay ; if all you got was $15oo you got porked .reply
- Quiet-is-feared 2012/08/12 03:30:19Yeah, its alright.+2Yes, it's a considerable amount of money for a tip. Especially if you weren't looking to obtain any. It's good you enjoyed your time therereply
- ken 2012/08/12 03:29:24Undecided+2It's pretty good for starters. Practice makes perfect and practice in front of people is even better. First you have to play just for the sheer enjoyment of it. Keep up the good work.reply
