I doubt it. It all depends on how you define success. There are amazing woman astronauts, Doctors, Scientists and Teachers. Not to mention all the great writers, oceanographers etc. Many probably make more then Oprah too.

I know she's one of the richest, or is it THE richest? Personally I don't know why, I've seen her show and thought it was utter rubbish!!!

I don't think so. But she is a very successful woman. I wish she had of acted more but she has done some good mixed with a few sours that come with the type of show she did.

Who is to say who the most successful women in america is. We only know she is so successful thanks to tv. There are other women who are prolly just as successful or more in other ways.

If you measure success by $$$ yes...there are others that have made a positive impact on the lives of others that leave her in the dust.

Depends on how success is defined. She is certainly one of the most recognizable women in America and her success can't be disputed, but the MOST successful is probably up for debate.
