Miley Cyrus might have pulled off the most elusive of celebrity coups: the secret wedding. The former-“Hannah Montana” star met the up-and-coming actor Liam Hemsworth when they co-starred in the film “The Last Song.”
It’s been relatively smooth sailing ever since. That is, if you don’t count that string of cryptic Tweets that Cyrus posted about having some “serious thinkin [sic] to do” back in October of last year. Bloggers jumped on the break-up bandwagon right away, but the gossip didn’t last long.
Then rumors about a clandestine marriage started circulating after Cyrus posted a Christmas day photo that showed the couple sporting bands on their ring fingers. But no one from either of the celeb’s camps would confirm the news.
Now, People magazine is reporting that Cyrus has made it official in an upcoming cover story of Cosmopolitan magazine. The 20-year-old blushing bride is quoted as saying, “I’m happy I don’t have to date anyone … I was like, ‘I’m so happy I’m married, because you guys are cruel!’” Later in the piece, she talks about how hot her “hubby” is.
