In her prime, Madonna would hardly have gotten a sidelong glance if she'd bared her bottom at a high-profile party. But at 52, with her daughter at her side, the look raised more than a few eyebrows.

Madge was seen strutting her stuff at a Vanity Fair post-Oscar party on Sunday with Lourdes, her 14-year-old daughter. She not only showed off her rear under a lacy see-through skirt, but struck revealing poses whenever she got the chance.

Lourdes was understandably upset, and the Daily Mail reports that she was heard repeatedly saying, "Mum, do you have to?!" and "You tell me to behave like a grown-up!"

We're kind of surprised Lourdes isn't used to it by now. After all, it's not the first time Madonna has stepped out in something a little less than appropriate. Isn't she getting a little old for this?

Oh please, she has NOT lost her body. She might not look like the anorexic plastic surgery-muddled kind of models magazines like to put on their front pages, but she's damn hot for being 52. She probably got a nip here and a tuck there over the years, but at least she doesn't look fake.

I don't care what people do. I was afraid to look at the picture and was quite pleased to see that she had on generous underpants. So there you go. It certainly could have been worse.

MADONNA has the body of a 21 yrs old! She is known for fashion,and she knows what looks good. Madonna still and wont ever appoligize for what she wears or does in her life.So all of our opinions,good or bad doesnt matter.MADONNA will always do whatever she wants.If we like it or not.Thats what makes MADONNA so great! Whether she's 52, 22, or even 16....no one should be wearing a see-through skirt like that unless they are MAYBE at the beach or something. She has a great body, but that's not the point. It'd be nice to see some modesty once in awhile.

What would you consider more appropriate? Is getting older ugly? She is only in her early 50's. That is not old. She has more soul and spirit and some loose skin should identify her character and her beauty. A new born baby is wrinkled and shriveled when born, why are are aging people any less than that beauty. We are born and beautiful and we should be able to go out with the same dignity not a so called look. Call it Life! Thanx for opening my eyes to this

It's scary because of how unsightly her arms look. Ugly, emaciated, more like the arms of a seventy year old, and indicative that her years of drug use have caught up to her.

Like the astute military man below asks "what happened to societal standards of public behavior and decency?"

It appears that Madonna knows nothing of proper public behavior or decency, and the scarecrow arms sure are a fright!

She has arms, so what. Why are arms indecent? You don't like the look? She should cover them? Should a burn victim cover their face so do not have to see it. Or perhaps a a soldier without a limb disguise it for your sensitive view. I am not being unkind but please be gentle on life as it is fragile and you are not immune to all of it.

I'll be 50 in a couple of years and if my arms looked like that, which they don't, I'd wear stylish long sleeves so as not to accent skeletal features. I have to agree with Cookie. You do seem to be a bit oversensitive here. That picture is very unflattering and Madonna's arms look emaciated. Yes, I'd prefer that she wore something to cover them.

"VANITY FAIR" party in HOLLYWOOD U.S.A. They dont through these kind of parties at the nearest Trailor Park get togethers.This is OSCAR FASHION.Not the Picnic for Hicks weekend BAKE OFF.lol.
