Pop singer Ke$ha is notorious for her "interesting" fashion sense, but she took it to a whole new level on Monday when she flashed a gold tooth to the paparazzi in New York City.
Though not as bizarre as Lady Gaga, Ke$ha has been known to catch eyeballs with her unusual accessories, like heavy face glitter, rave glasses, and even a plastic tiger mask.
When Ke$ha was spotted in New York, she was dressed in a surprisingly normal outfit. It wasn't until she smiled that her reserved clothes made a little more sense.
It was probably a good idea to tone down the animal look when she revealed the gold tooth, but it didn't stop entertainment blogs from immediately launching pirate comparisons.
Hollywood Life wrote, "Combined with the floppy hat, nose ring and messy hair, Ke$ha looks like a genuine pirate now," while Fame stated, "Common among pirates, gypsies, weird musicians and old school tattoo artists, pop star Ke$ha has gotten herself a gold tooth."
Not the most flattering response.
Though we shouldn't be so quick to judge. Maybe she really needed a new tooth. Doesn't she sing about brushing her teeth with Jack Daniel's?
