Is Johnny Depp 'Cheating' on Tim Burton With Wes Anderson?

Johnny Depp will pair up with "The Royal Tenenbaums" director Wes Anderson for his next movie, said to be called "The Grand Budapest Hotel," The Hollywood Reporter confirms. And it sounds a bit like cheating with his favorite Hollywood director, Tim Burton, to us!

Depp's latest movie, next year's "The Lone Ranger," reportedly delighted fans at Comic-Con. However, his last movie, "Dark Shadows," by director Tim Burton, was a box-office disappointment.

Depp has starred in many Burton movies over the years, including "Ed Wood," "Sleepy Hollow," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Corpse Bride," "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" and "Alice in Wonderland." So, we have to wonder: Is the A-list actor ditching Burton for Anderson... who just so happens to have a hit right now with "Moonrise Kingdom"?

    Correct me if I am wrong, but don't you have to be in a relationship in order to cheat? I realize that Tim Burton and Johnny Depp have done TONS of movies together, but that doesn't mean he MUST do movies with Tim Burton ONLY. I mean look at Chocolat or all of the P of C. They weren't Tim Burton movies!

    He's never had any kind of excusive deal with Burton. I've enjoyed some of the movies he did under Burton's direction but really it's never been my favorite of his work anyway.
