Is Jesse James Cashing In on Infamous ‘Nazi’ Photo?

SodaHead Celebs 2010/06/02 14:51:42
Yes, Jesse James is cashing in.
No, Jesse James probably needs the money.

If you didn’t already have more than enough reasons to loathe Jesse James, here’s another one.

Fresh off of cheating on “America’s Sweetheart” Sandra Bullock on the eve of her Oscar win/adoption of her first baby, now he’s apparently trying to cash in on the infamous “Nazi” photo that emerged during the scandal, TMZ reports.

In an eBay auction operated by his company, West Coast Choppers, James is trying to sell off the Red Baron replica airplane seen in the background of the photo.

In the listing, the plane is described as a piece of "pop culture history" -- due to appearance in “US, People, In Touch, TMZ, etc etc etc.”

The only pop culture history we see in this story is Jesse James, whose time in the spotlight is just about up.

    Infamous ‘Nazi’ Photo?

the Red Baron (Baron Manfred von Richthofen born 2 May 1892 – died 21 April 1918) was a WW "ONE" ace - before most of the Nazis were born.

Wow - public school failure writing for Sodahead? The soda fizz part must be taking up too much room in the head part.

The plane and the scandal have nothing to do with each other. I would love to have a WWI German plane even if it is a replica! BUT, the man is insane - If Sandra Bullock was at my house I would never go to work!!!!

He was dumb enough to cheat, who says he's not dumb enough to do other such things.

As for the Red Baron, I knew he couldn't have been Nazi, he's too cool for that.

I love Jesse he's a great guy and a very talented fabricator. Sandra was, is boring anyway.. As far as him being in the "spotlight" he never should have been in the spotlight in first place, he should have stayed in his shop doing what he does best.

That's exactly right .Isn't amazing how people go on and on, talking about things they know nothing about? Your right about public schools too. the history they teach in public school is incomplete at best and in allot of cases completely wrong . For instance, and this is a case of the information being incomplete, because of what they teach in public school most people think the american civil war was fought over slavery. Slavery was no doubt an issue but was far from the only one. It was of course a war over states rights vs federal control. Its amazing how few people know this. and many other things. I went to public school too, but I learned allot more in the library than I ever did in the class rooms.

Some public educations are a success but the failures are spectacular. I was fortunate to be very successful in public school. I was so successful that I was promoted to the same grade repeatedly and I finally had to leave to allow someone else a chance at having a seat in that classroom.

I have never understood what was civil about Lincoln's War of Aggression against the Southern States.

Most don't even know that Lincoln locked up ALL of his political oppostion until after the war was over, and also locked up any person who dared to speak against him. Most also assume it was all about slavery, when it was about states rights, which the FED has been trampling since the loss.

It's so true... I go to a fantastic public school and we still only get part of the story when it comes to history. I've learned more online, in books and with the maps in my room than I have in school. It's very frustrating.

They do what they can, History is just one of the things that gets skimmed over quickly. Unfortunately that was the one thing I was most interested in. I spent allot of time in the library and with my Grandfathers collection of books.

There certainly is a lot of information learn, history-wise, but I was referring more to the one-sided ways things are taught. We only know what they want us to know and it's not only mild indoctrination, but just frustrating because key events get left out because they're not deemed school appropriate. I do agree that schools do what they can, though. They probably have a ton of outside pressure that monitors what they teach.
I love history too :) I wish I had a grandfather with book collections! My own is growing though, haha.

Baron von Richthofen was called "Der Rote Kampfflieger" (sort of "The Red Baron") because his airplane was painted red. He was an 80 kill Ace and legendary in his conduct as an honorable warrior.

I think that unless I am wrong, and before I commented I did look it up several places, Nazi is not what this plane is to begin with, it says here he is trying to sell a replica of the red baron's plane which is world war one. Nazi and Nazism is world war two. not that I am defending the guy or anything but, let's get the facts straight. then let's persecute his stupidity.
