What started out as a long-shot reality show has turned into an American anti-pop staple, but when the upcoming sixth season of "Jersey Shore" signs off this year, we'll never have to see Snooki or The Situation again. At least, not under the same roof. According to In Touch Weekly, the cast of "Jersey Shore" will not be returning for a seventh season.

An unnamed source told In Touch, "An executive producer announced that this season will be the last. She stressed to the cast that fans will remember them for this season, not the first, so they should bring their A game." Maybe that means they'll finally straighten themselves out, stop drinking, stop sleeping around, and work out their differences! Wouldn't that be something? Fat chance. Do you think this season will actually be the last of "Jersey Shore"? Or is it just another rumor?

i could only hope Jersey Sluts is over. Alas, there's so much more trash on TV/movies that it would merely be a drop in the bucket. However, any sane, reasoning person must deduce that the floundering state of our nation is related to a society that embraces such trash.
