What started out as a long-shot reality show has turned into an American anti-pop staple, but when the upcoming sixth season of "Jersey Shore" signs off this year, we'll never have to see Snooki or The Situation again. At least, not under the same roof. According to In Touch Weekly, the cast of "Jersey Shore" will not be returning for a seventh season.
An unnamed source told In Touch, "An executive producer announced that this season will be the last. She stressed to the cast that fans will remember them for this season, not the first, so they should bring their A game." Maybe that means they'll finally straighten themselves out, stop drinking, stop sleeping around, and work out their differences! Wouldn't that be something? Fat chance. Do you think this season will actually be the last of "Jersey Shore"? Or is it just another rumor?

reply - mae 2012/06/09 03:51:22NoWe'll believe it when we see it. The cast is tired of the same old story line--I can see this show morphing into something new this season, allowing for cast to mature into new roles. Think "Friends". I expect to see a new title also, something like Jersey Friends, Shore Freedom, Jersey Comrades...ugh.reply

+2I agree ...I was telling my hubby the same thing the other day. I saw the first MTV broadcast , way back when, they only had about 3 music videos that they played over and over again. But bands slowly started adding them and we had a wonderful place to view your favorite bands. NOT ANY MORE...it's a bunch of crap now...so much for progress,eh?reply - Rachel Searvogel 2012/06/08 20:40:14Yes+2Even if its not, I would rather live in denial.reply
