    I've never heard of anyone doing that but then again it is college not highschool. Most everyone in college is an adult so its adults showering with adults. Unless that coach is doing or saying inappropriate things I don't see what the big deal is.

    ................ I wouldn't know, college life, actually, 12 years of high school life, is well behind me now............ this Penn State issue.......... I'm getting pretty tired of seeing it front line National news story, there are more important news to keep up on............especially International news..........

    I don't know if it is, but it shouldn't be. I wouldn't think it was as bad to be showering in the same shower room with college students (who are 18+ and therefore adults) as with children. If I had a child and discovered the coach was showering with him/her, that would be the end of my child participating in sports.

    I meant no ,really the screen jumped as I pushed the button. NO,NO,NO ,this was sick ,and the ones who kept it secret for a while ,to me are just as bad as the one doing the act.

    Most college students are of age, unlike the underage boys that Sandusky showered with and (allegedly) preyed upon. I still doubt that college coaches shower with their students and if they did in the past I bet they don't after this scandal.

    Not in any school that I ever went too. I hope its not a common practice in any school. Thats just plain not right, not right in any sense of the word.

    Not only no, but Hell no! My brother-in-law is/was a football coach and I can tell you he NEVER showered with his students

    Now, if he were a coach for a female sports team, and all of them were 21 and over, then maybe we'd look at the coach differently.

    None of my coaches ever did. When I was coaching on the college level I never did, but again I was coaching women's softball.

    I do not think this is the norm at all....Coaches are the same as teachers, and often are teachers as well...no cohabitating in any form should be tolerated...
