Your goals, your dreams, what you wish to do with your life, etc. So long as you're on par with them regarding the important things, age is just a number.reply

i always tell him that...age is just a number :) but if your under age does that change?like 16 and him 19 but both mature ..and we both love each other, and have plans for the future, but people thinking or talking in a negative way, kinda hurts my feelings.reply

Statutory rape involves sex between a minor and an adult,(even if consensual) so I can see why some would look down on your relationship. They're probably just looking out for you though, especially if they do not know the guy well. *hugs* Don't let others dictate how you feel about yourself or your relationships sweetheart. What matters is that you're happy and the guy you're with makes you happy=)reply

I was in a relationship at 20 with a 16 year old...Neither of us meant for it to happen, it just did. And it was love, so we didn't pay any mind to those who knocked me for being a 'perv' In fact her family was really accepting of me and loved me cause I made her happy. I'm glad you're happy=)reply

I mean...I know people who date other people who are like five years apart, so you're not that bad. People who get married have a greater age differences. It also depends on the state you live in, some people have an age limit, but it's not a big deal. Are you guys serious?reply

yes we are :) and no i dont plan to get marry that young lol but yeah people say negative stuff or make fun since his older then me and it hurts my feelings i dnt know how to deal with that.reply
