Is Christian Grey From 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Hot or Not?

The upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie hasn't even been cast yet, but you can already see what bondage-loving billionaire Christian Grey looks like. The University of Central Lancashire's Dr. Faye Skelton gathered descriptions from 12 female readers of the best-selling novel, then used e-fit software employed in police investigations to create the following black-and-white image, The Daily Mail reports.

christian grey

The image was "inspired" by "Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey's eyes, Brad Pitt's jawline, David Beckham's face shape and a young Val Kilmer's lips. "While we don't want to intrude on anyone's fantasies, based on a small sample of women, this is the image of Christian Grey they have in their heads when reading the novels," Skelton said, according to the Mail. The end result doesn't exactly have us racing down to our basement dungeon. How about you?

I read the book, and let me just say this: I couldn't even finish it, the writing was so horrid. No real thought detail, the character's were a mess, and the fact that this writer couldn't even freaking come up with a real novel was just disgusting. A typical fan fic book. I don't even see why those are even acknowledged. I think the only real reason people are interested in it is the amount of sex that the book holds. And I am not hating on someone who is. My mom, for instants, is a huge romance novel fan. But this guy who wrote this book? Why is he getting such fame for his lousy writing skills? I mean, I'm serious. I was reading it and the writing is just horrid. It matched how I wrote at the age of twelve.

I haven't read the book, so I don't know how old Christian Grey is supposed to be.
I'm thinking maybe the actor from "X-Files" would fit the role. Fox Mulder

Christian Grey may be attractive physically, but his behaviour was not hot at all. If he had a problem and wanted to solve it, he should have gone to a therapist, not be in a relationship. The profile isn't the handsomest, BTW.
Ana- To say Ana has the intelligence of a plank of wood would be a humongous insult to a plank of wood. She walks into an interview, attracts the handsome boss, and yet is surprised when he calls again asking her for a date. Also, she forgets that if she is in an uncomfortable situation, she should leave the place (or tell the other person that they are making her uncomfortable). And we're supposed to believe she's intelligent; just goes to show that you can attain all the college degrees in the universe, and still be an idiot.

Not my type, unfortunately. I hope when casting that someone jawdropping will step in, because otherwise it's not going to be much fun.

I never read the books, and I doubt they'd interest me much. This guy is attractive, but not really anything special. I could find a better looking guy at my grocery store's check out(really, there is one very handsome guy working there).

Art, if you haven't figured out that women are not visual the way men are, I'll let you in on the secret. Women like to read about sex, rather than watch it (grin).

To all the girls and women who read this crap: READ REAL BOOKS!

Or if you want to read poorly written smut, do so, but don't harp on about it like it's deep, thought provoking literature.

'The Fifty Shades trilogy was developed from a Twilight fan fiction originally titled Master of the Universe and published episodically on fan-fiction websites under the pen name "Snowqueens Icedragon".'

Twilight. Fan-fiction. If that isn't enough to bring you to your senses nothing will.

I am so pleased! I browsed your profile - I hope you don't mind; I browse most people's - and it's obvious that you enjoy many great books and will have no trouble finding another one more worthy of your time. :)

Actually, I'd like to make a suggestion based on the novels and authors you mentioned. Have you read 'The Farseer Trilogy' by Robin Hobb? If you haven't, I cannot recommend it strongly enough! (Seriously.) There is a second trilogy to follow after it too called 'Tawny Man'.

All I have to say is that the book wasn't even good. It kind of reminded me of Twilight for older women that have nothing else to do. It was so bad and it's like the writer couldn't come up with more descriptions. I swear I read the same lines as they were having sex over and over again it was nothing new. It was just easy read smut in my opinion.

Yes I'm aware I might be too young to be reading this type of novel but with writing so bad who cares? It sucked and I couldn't even finish it.

I know right, I read 14 bits of it and it's terrible. Not really that much of a turn on and I've read certain bits of other romance novels that were VERY intense and descriptive and intresting,
And this is coming from a 14 yr old. Terrible book. Did u read that "inner goddess" crap

the books are utter crap and quite frankly I have no idea why this book get and the upcomming movie is getting so much hype. And I've only ever read the first half of the first book because I couldn't even make it through the entire book, so when I say the series is crap I'm just assuming that the other two books are equally bad. Am I right?
