After a string of life-threatening health scares, Michaels finally got a break from the bad news last night, when Donald Trump told him “you’re hired” on the season finale of “Celebrity Apprentice.”

Just a month ago, Michaels was hospitalized with a brain hemorrhage and listed in critical condition for 10 days. “I’ve never felt pain like that ever,” Michaels told Access Hollywood. “I got knocked out at the Tonys by a wall and it didn’t feel half as bad as that did.”

Michaels was then released to out-patient recovery. Despite his rare rate of recovery, Michaels was deemed well enough to return for the finale of “Celebrity Apprentice.” Then he had a stroke. The stroke led to a further diagnosis of patent foramen ovale, also known as a hole in the heart. He is scheduled for heart surgery in the fall to address the condition. “They have to let everything clear out and then they’ll go in and do the operation in my heart and then I’m gonna be great. I don’t have any other options except to think that it’s gonna be great, it’s gonna be a smooth operation and I’m gonna feel awesome.”

The finale of “Celebrity Apprentice” depicted the last challenge between Michaels and fellow finalist Holly Robinson Peete. Michaels was ultimately declared the winner of the business-based reality show competition, scoring $250,000 for the charity of his choice, American Diabetes Association, and reminding us, in the process, that every rose really does have its thorn.

Is going to be fine. At least I hope so! He's a nice guy, he really doesn't deserve the bad rap some people give him.

He won 250,000$ for a charity... I don't care how gross or promiscuous the man is, but he got money for a society that needed it to help people. I don't really see how that was supposed to help Michaels himself, but whatever. He brought those problems on himself, maybe all of these health issues will make him realize that he needs to take better care of is body.

I think Brett Michaels is a disgusting man. I got this opinion from the rock of love. He could find a way better woman than that. I think these health problems and such will help him finally realize that he can be a better person and he needs to appreciate life more.

is a winner even if he hadn't won Celebrity Apprentice... I do think at age 47 he has outgrown the headband and long hair, and will be curious to see what his Donald Trump businessman makeover look will be.

Before, he's been this way for years. he's even admitted on that show he did Rock of Love that he wears hair extensions from Europe.

I remember the ladies had no idea Andre Agassi was bald either, he wore a piece also for years, you really can't tell unless you are close to them or run your fingers through it.

Well I knew he wore extensions, but thought they were attached to his own hair, not that he was bald... dang, he sure does look different... actually I could tell he had on what appeared to be a "wig" last night on Celebrity Apprentice, but just assumed they had shaved his head and that was why....
wow, what a difference hair makes...

Yep he started losing it in the 80s, that's when he started with that cowboy hat and bandana.I've been on some rock sites and people posted that they say him many years ago at poison shows and you could see the top of his head shining when he sat down to take a break when he wore the bandana.

You really can't tell like I said unless you run your fingers through it, Trump recently had that done to him on a radio show and the were all very surprised to learn he didn't wear one.

Winning The Apprentice will be good for Bret Michaels, and while it's not an end-all/be-all help for Bret Michaels, it is a good start. The man is a fighter, through and through, which is most likely why Donald Trump picked him.

Regardless of what happens... ROCK ON BRET MICHAELS!!!
