- Brosia 2012/07/07 02:31:50UndecidedI don't really know or care, because the show is a popularity contest disguised as a competition over who it the better singer. Better singers get voted off because someone else is cuter, and the girls that vote do so with hormones raging.reply
- Chloey Hamer 2012/07/07 00:51:55I think so+1They lost all of my respect this year when That Phillip Phillips guy won.reply
- cddjmikey 2012/07/06 23:58:27I think soThey lost credibility when they got rid of the only judge that was honest. Yes, sometimes he was a little too honest but that is another matter. One other thing. The tryouts. It seems like they are showing more of the rotten ones then the good ones. I NEVER understood why they allowed people through that were obviously not good enough to make it. The worst ones they SHOULD show are the ones that are borderline.reply

- Tresa 2012/07/06 22:36:17UndecidedI think it was seasons 2 & 3 that I watched. I burned out pretty quickly. Since it still does good in the ratings there must be someone watching it.reply
- Xerxes,Phantom of PHAET 2012/07/06 20:36:34I think so+2Only contest where if you win, never heard from again; however, if you lose you get an Oscarreply

There have been TWO that have actually gone on to succeed. The first Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. Other then those two it does seem better to be a loser, you do much better !reply - joan.sloane 2012/07/06 20:04:26Undecided+1I watched the first three seasons and enjoyed the show very much. However, I got tired of being tied to the TV twice a week to keep up with the show. I don't keep up with TV ratings so, I don't know how well the show is holding on but I have heard here and there that it is slipping. I don't really care one way or the other since I don't watch it anymore.reply

- gaylehelen 2012/07/06 18:17:41Undecided+1I hope so. I've never watched the show and could care less. I'm so sick of hearing about American Idol and all it's spin offs. Although I have to admit I did watch some of the first season of "The Voice". I don't watch anymore. One partial season was enough for me.reply
