Jennifer Lawrence may be a big movie star, but she recently told Vanity Fair that acting is “stupid.” The star of “The Hunger Games” claims in the February issue of the magazine that doctors and firemen who save lives are doing the really important work and that her job as an actress is insignificant. She claims it’s easy to stay level-headed because, “I'm making movies. It's stupid."
And while Lawrence is thrilled to play Katniss in “The Hunger Games” and is busy making the sequel “Catching Fire,” she also told Vanity Fair about a big downside to being famous. She stated, “I call my mom sobbing all the time … dealing with the repercussions of having no more anonymity. You lose privacy.”
Of course, she might be in the spotlight more than she would like, but the silly little job she’s doing will most likely earn her an Oscar nod this year for her role in “Silver Linings Playbook.” And while it may not be as important as the work done by doctors or firemen, she does entertain and improve people's lives indirectly. Kudos, J-Law!

And have gratitude. No one can make you believe in something free will our greatest gift. When I see the many programs Hollywood types have are sometimes so incredity beneficial. Like Jessica Seinfeld..she knew that the woman of LA needed newborn baby cloths, and car seats given freely for struggling couples. Beings lawyer sound or poor people. Even those people were using their time talent and treasure. as you find yourself you listen to the map of your life direction..every job is important as it feeds a family..provides the family bigger and better level s of living such as two cars. A mortgage..though wonderful to own
Like "JOHN LENNON" said, "You just have to learn how to Paly the Game ", it's easy??.
"THE MONGOOSE"
Fables, reader, are really comprised of actors, but lessons are learned from them. So should movies be. Plus, movies can help to ease tensions, help people connect and lead to good discussions and also cause people to question themselves, beliefs, and become better for it (again, I hearken back to Greek playwrights like Sophocles). Find a good movie that is actually worth something.
Why doesn't she quit acting then?
No job is stupid.
