Android has the Apps that I use for my Vision Impairment .. (the Iphone did NOT have the usable apps for me)

You know what .. it can be a BLESSING to NOT /see/ some things .. (shudder!) ..

Yep ..I am very glad I don't /see/ what others do at times .. and no matter what .. I can definitely stay independent for the most part since I've already earned my pensions .. and I can take care of myself indeed.

What I miss most is actually being able to pick up a book and READ the pages .. sigh ..

i was wondering can a blind person dream at night i mean if you haven't seen anything you can't dream about it and if you can't i guess that is kinda good too because you can't have nightmares

Actually .. my sight loss is recent .. so yes, I have memories of what I've seen, experienced .. and I do believe that even those who have experienced blindness since birth .. can dream based on life experiences as well ...
(My hearing .. which I've protected all my life .. is serving me well at this time .. I'm too harsh with touch (a life of doing for myself heavy chores means I'm pretty heavy-handed with touch and must learn to soften that up quite a bit).

I do have nightmares from my PTSD (which is due to Military Service too) ...

I never was too keen on iOS. I have an iPod classic, but when it comes to smarthphone I prefer the Android OS. I'm still waiting for the 2.3 Gingerbread update though.

No my phone is actually usable, it's fast and I've actually dropped it (3 times eep) and it's not broken, and the camera is good too

i have dropped my iPod video more than 20 times and it didn't break but then i dropped it for the final time and the hard drive broke but i had it for 4 years so it was very good quality
then there is my iPod shuffle i have dropped it at least twice as much as the iPod video and i have tried to break it just does not break it is so strong
