I'm asking all my friends (or anyone who's interested) to give a listen to Sad Cadillac? They are an Indie Rock Band from Dayton/Cincinnati Oh. area, and I have a personal interest in their success. Please keep in mind, they record Lo-Fi in a home studio.

reminds me of a lot of the "progressive rock" of the late 60's early 70's. It's not bad at all, and can see myself listening to it driving down the road. Would need to hear hi-fi recordings to know if it could grace my home system.

It sounds a little raw, but they have a lot of potential. If they can get in a studio and re-record it one day it would make them even better. We recorded an EP in a friend's home studio one time and it pretty much had the same sound. We bought some studio time and recorded the same tracks. World of difference. We sounded like a different band.

They do have a good sound...listened to the first few bars of each and liked the two I selected the most, due to the beat and the Guitar, along with the vocals....I Like a Heavy Beat, not a Light high pitch one....

So my advice is just from wandering.

singer needs training (not that he is flat or sharp)
it will help him develop some thrust.

I like it, and I realize it was recorded in a Lo-fi home studio (I have NO clue what that means) but...this band has the same problem my son's band has. The music is louder than the lyrics making the lyrics hard to hear/understand. The music was really good though and overall, I like it.

I'm not a big fan of Indie Rock, but I gave some songs a listen.

Title aside; Sugar Sociopath seemed like a well-rounded song with its tone, and quality.

They have potential! The band should keep the Networking on full blasts -- continue getting themselves known.
