Yes. I watched my mother's reaction to my brother's coming out, and I studied it carefully. She loved him unconditionally, as did I. I've always been prepared for one of my own to come out if he chooses. I'll love them no matter what way of life they go.

I have an amazing son. He is sharp, inquisitive, funny and loves being around DADDY. His doctor is predicting that he will reach 6' 3". He has a bad ass faux hawk. He's always dressed like a rock star. He can spell 'alligator' at 4. If he revealed he was gay, why should it matter. I am teaching him to be a leader, and a leader always chooses the path he feels is right. Are you asking if I would 'un' love my kid? Only a monster wouldn't stand behind his/her child regardless. Parents understand. I got through the tantrums and thr 'no' stage. I an handle the rest.

One should not procreate until he/she has learned the meaning of unconditional love.

A person's sexual orientation does not define them. It's merely a part of who they are.

My son is gay and I have always loved him and have always accepted him. He is perfect exactly as God made him. He is a wonderful, loving, creative, man. I would not want one thing to be different about him. He has always been amazing to me.

To reject anyone, be they a relative or not, on the basis of their sexuality, is simply bigotry. To reject your own flesh and blood on the basis of their sexuality is bigotry of the most hateful and disgusting sort.

He/she would be my child regardless of his/her sexual orientation. I would be very concerned about discrimination, or him/her being harmed by some demonic person. Plus, HIV would be an additional concern about my gay child.
