If you think downloading music illegally is wrong, are you alright with borrowing a friend's CD and ripping it?

i have gone to a few shows of bands that aren't famous, and they all have encouraged burning their cd's for people. they want their music to be heard and appreciated, not necessarily the money. the music most people pirate is from big corporations anyway. they have enough money, and don't try and tell me they don't because i've seen the chains rappers wear on their necks.

Technically it is wrong. but I'm against the copywrite laws. When I was in Nam while in the Air Force we had tape centers with 7 in reels of pre recorded music. While in the room were 30 to 40 stations with 2 Akai Reel to Reels. we went up to the desk picked up a couple of tapes and brought a blank one with us then recorded the music on our blank tapes. How in the hell can it be bad now except that the Internet has killed the Recording industry and they are only trying to hold on as long as possible. There are many groups who are bypassing the Industry and putting their stuff on the net. So it isn't going to be long.
