If you could go back in time and live any any period, when would it be?

ALL OF IT.

My fondest wish - I'm serious, this is what I'd wish for if I had a genie or something - would be to go back in time to just before (a few years maybe) the dawn of civilization and live as an immortal throughout human history.

Probably the 1950's it just seems like the right place for me to live in!

I'd have liked to live through them all.

I wouldn't go back. The 2000's is best because we have the internet and video games for me to be able to escape to. If it weren't for those, I would have run away into the woods to live like an animal back when I was 12. There is no time period in this real world that would be comfortable to live in, except for the 2000's and maybe the 90's.

around 1976 or so... I'd be a good punkrocker!

1950's cool cars, cool clothes, cool times

Those car were NOT cool in my opinion. They are nothing but battering rams and if I lived during that time I would be in jail for life with 400 counts of vehicular homicide.

!889. The turn of the century. Horses, buggies, clean air, And hard work paid off. If you did not work hard, you did not live. The rules were laid out pretty simple. No well fare. Just people helping people when When they really needed it. You did not have to worry about someone getting hurt on your property and trying to take everything away from you. Just a lot more cut and dried way to live. Oh, And you just shot or hung theives. No need for a trial.

I think I would like to live in the late 1940's after the war. Times were so much simpler and innocent. when people really took pride in their work and their country. I think style was in fashion and more proper then too.

There are other times too, just think if you were able to speak to magnificent men and women of the past like Leonardo Da Vinci, and learn from them.

There's WAY too many time periods that I would like to live in other than my own. I would love the Roarin' Twenties, the thrities when all of those jazz clubs were at their height. The forties had GREAT fashion. The fifties because they were OBLIVIOUS to the world around them and the cars were great. It was all about who was taking you to next Friday's hop and who had the best hot rod. The sixties had AH-MAZING music. The seventies was all about the revolution, the eighties were about crazy clothes, synthesizers and dancing. I LOVE swing dancing, big band Frank Sinatra style music, black and white movies, and all of that jazz. If you made me choose, it would probably have to be in the thirties and forties because that was the hayday for jazz. Katelyn

I'd like to go somewhere between 1987-1999 so that way, I'd get to be a part of a live studio audience in either full house, home improvement, or family matters. Also, I'd like a long time to get ready for a milenium party! Celebrating 2000!
