Definitely Jimi. If I were to choose Kurt, he would just kill himself again.

Not that the choices above don't deserve to come back from the dead, I have nothing against any of them! It's just that the first musician that came to my mind was Jim Morrison.

Stevie Ray Vaughn over all of the above...as much as I love "all of the above!"

Actually...now that I think of it....I would want "all" of them back...I don't want to have to choose only one! :)

Oh god. Then we could get high together. No, only kidding. Seriously. I love Kurt and would like to see him on his feet again! My other choice would have been George Harrison. That hell of a man. Or John Lennon, I strongly look up to him, that old activist. :D

Amazing they were both amazing great choices. But i also would have picked Beethoven, Vivaldi, Chopin, Pachelbel, and Debussy. Mostly Beethoven.

There r soooo many!!! I also like Kurt Cobain and John Lennon, but the first name that came into my mind has to be Freddie Mercury!!! He's a hero and I see him as one of the few greatest frontman out there!!!
After Freddie Mercury, I wud like Kurt Cobain and John Lennon, and then Elvis Presley...

All probably, especially John Lennon. And George Harrison too, but he's not listed.
John Bonham too. Stu Sutcliffe, and Syd Barrett

I would bring back 2 of the best in rock and roll that dies way to young. Randy Rhodes and Cliff Burton. Those men made it easy for the guitar and bass players of today to have an open door for them. If those men were still around and playing the bands of today wouldn't stand a chance.

There are so many, I'm afraid I'll forget many but Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Stevie Ray, Janis Joplin, Zappa, RORY GALLAGHER (didn't see anyone else mention him, another great slide guitarist) (as was) Duane Allman, Luther Allison, Albert King, George Harrison, Jim Morrison, Freddie Mercury, Marc Bolan, Cornelis Vreeswijk, Keith Green, Syd Barett, Joe Zawinul, Jaco Pastorius, Elvis, Bob Marley and the list goes on.
Go back in time and there's no end Louis Armstrong, Elmore James, Robert Johnson and all the classics; Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and more, and even more.

So the answer is NO, I couldn't choose just one.
