In my humble opinion, Catiana would win anything short term. Lisbeth Salander would kick butt over the long haul.
I kind of wish they'd combined the two. The Swedish version had scenes from the book not in the American version and vice versa. May as well go whole hog and turn it into a 3 1/2 hour movie.
