    As a big fan of 'The Office,' the show probably should have ended a few years back...even before Michael Scott clocked out for good. There's only so many crazy situations that can happen in one small place, like Dunder Mifflin. It's time to hang it up. That show has become a CARTOON.

    Hell no. The show got new life AFTER Michael Scott moved on.

    I love this show!

    Without Steve Carrell, the office is broken. I just kind of keep hoping he comes back.

    Christopher Doherty - 29th Mayor of Scranton
    Incumbent
    Assumed office January 18, 2002
    Preceded by James Patrick Connors

    Personal details
    Born March 25, 1958
    Political party (NOW PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE PARTY) Democratic
    Spouse(s) Donna Doherty
    Residence Scranton, Pennsylvania
    Alma mater College of the Holy Cross

    Now from my personal observation about every City, Town, Village or Corporation (another name for a tiny town) that has been under the leadership of those in the DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL PARTY have filed bankruptcy, been in trouble financially, or have sucked the life out of the citizens of that city, town, village or corporation to the point they have had to INCREASE taxes and costs that those citizens have to pay...but then according to the DNC or liberals, THAT IS A LIE, and are actually to fracking lazy to do the research for them selves...I believe in the case of those that are addicted to something that is called DENIAL.

    Here are the top 10 cities with Democrats for mayors...
    Detroit, MI (1st on the poverty rate list) hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1961;
    Buffalo, NY (2nd) hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1954;
    Cincinnati, OH (3rd)… since 1984;
    Cleveland, OH (4th)… since 1989;
    Miami, FL (5th) has never had a Rep...

    Steve Carell made this show. When he left, 80% of the humor left. It's painful to watch now.

    It was done the minute Mike and the bimbo moved to Denver, all the writing talent must have left as well sadly this season has been like watching paint dry poorly on a wall. They had a good run but the rest of the cast has clearly can't carry a show alone or collectively or are given crap scripts to work with sort of like when the first year cast members started leaving SNL.

    Basicly, although the city finances should affect the companies based in it. Also Dunder Mifflin is run by Saber now so they help Dunder Mifflin finacially

    Just because the town is broke, doesn't mean all the businesses are broke. Many companies look to locate to towns in this situation. Cheap land, cheap buildings, cheap labor, and many times cheap property taxes.

    Once upon a time, it would have been unfeasible to imagine canceling The Office. When Carrell left, it lost a lot of its quality. It's still a funny show, but a really promising new show might earn it's time slot. Cancel, "The Office" if there is something awesome in mind. don't cancel if you are planning on replacing it with more reality TV.

    It's a fictional version of the town, so the show shouldn't have any basis in reality. All I'm asking is that they get rid of Catherine Tate's character. She can be funny, but not with the material they're giving her.

    It was done a looooooooong time ago, it's just that they can't get any writers to come up with anything better.. NO imagination. likewise the unfunny Workaholics.. really that's the best they can come up with?
