    If it is easily curable then I don't think people should make a big deal about it. Just compensate for the cost of the treatment. However, if it was Aids, then that is similar to murder.

    Knowingly infecting another person with a sexually transmitted disease is at least worse than assault and battery. In the case of knowingly infecting someone with an uncurable STD, I don't know the appropiate name of the charge but it would be far more serious than infecting someone with a curable STD. And knowingly infecting someone with a fatal STD's, should be murder in the 3rd degree.

    Being arrested is going a bit to far I think but I do think they should be fined and ordered to pay all medical expenses of the person/people he or she gave it to.
