IDOL WATCH: Who's Your Pick for the Next American Idol — Lee, Crystal, or Casey?

Crystal...love Lee too though. Either one will be fine with me.

I like Lee.

I believe Crystal is a good artist and will do fine in country/pop area. I do not believe she is personality ready for stardom. Her "I know everything already attitude" has not improved. I believe this has stymied Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia Barrino, Taylor HIcks... When the comments are given "you have stayed true to yourself" are made it generally means you have not learned anything from your journey to now. Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughertry were "teachable". This is the key to success in the music industry. Talent is needed, but you must be able to follow instructions even when you do not necessarily agree with it. Lee DeWyze is the only Idol with the ability to allow the mentors and judges to complete a sentence and demonstrate absorbing the feedback. Kelly, Fantasia and Taylor all to Clive Davis to take a walk??? They were staying true to themselves. Well how is that working out for them??? Let's face it Casey is eye candy and has been from day one.

I think Crystal is the best artist, she has most educated vocals, I never heard any pitches or out of tune from her, she plays many instruments, she has a very interesting personality, she is true to her artristy, she should win, but she won't, you all know why. Casey should have been the runner up, good vocals, very good guitar player, handsome and we actually will know how much better he is when he start being signed, the Idol organizers made sure to run the bus over him, he never got the fanfare and effects from the show like the others, so we don't know really how good he could have been during Idol. Lee has a beautiful voice but more than one time i heard the pitches, last night he was really good and he had the fanfare and effects to help him. He will win. I'm glad the three made it to this point, with either one being the winner I'm happy but I will never watch Idol again the manipulation and comments of the judges are deplorable

I think if the winner was based on the entire body of work for the season, Crystal could and should win. However, the winner is usually the performer who is the peaking at the right time, and that's definately Lee. They all but crowned him the winner last night; next week already seems like a formality. Casey has had a nice run but he's simply out of his depth at this point; both DeWyze and Bowersox are simply flat out better singers and more complelling performers (there seems to be little debate about that much).

Overall, thought, I think it's time for Idol to pack up and go home. With Simon leaving, there's really going to be no chemistry left at the judges table- everything there revolves around him. Plus, we're all overly familiar with the way the whole thing works now, and no ammount of tinkering with the formula is going to be able to keep the ship from going down.

Boy, the judge's sure picked song's that favored Lee and Crystal. I think Casey was just as good, but the song that the judge's chose for him was a lousy song for him and they knew it. They made it very clear that Crystal or Lee would get the vote's.

Why Kara and Randy picked the song for Casey? they have been bashing him all season (except the kara crush in the audition) then they pick that horrible song, like not-so Casey, then Simon gets to pick lee's song .. pleease , that was obvious, they wanted lee to win this thing .. since they couldn't keep Mike on

Crystal is the best talent! Lee is great too but nothing like Crystal!

Crystal has a definate style...when she performs her own songs, there is no one better;
she has proved that week after week;Lee is a strong 2nd and Casey, although very good himself, gets 3rd IMO

I am not sure what the story is with this season, but it was clearly the most disappointing since the show began. My guess is that Simon decided to play his own version of Pygmalion and prove that he could turn a skank into an American Idol. It was pretty obvious tonight that someone told Simon that he had proved his point and now it is time to shift the contest to someone that truly deserves to win.

I am not saying that I want Lee to win by any stretch of the imagination, but he is clearly better than Crystal "Meth-mouth" Bowersox. The judges pretty well gave America their permission to give Casey the Bronze medal which was pretty much expected. I can only hope that viewers awaken from their own drug induced coma in time to realize that the skank should have never made it as far as she has and that Casey should be in the final two.

But even if that were to happen, I would still say that this should be the first season that American Idol provides a third voting option for the finale. Just like you saw on this board, there should be a "None of the above" option. This season was a nice little social experiment for Simon - or whoever it was that decided to play the Pygmalion game, but it was sadly disappointing for those who expected to tune in for entertainment.

Send a loud signal to the sponsors of the show that their advertising dollars were poorly spent this year.
