"American Idol" was its usual mix of naughty and nice in Wednesday night's Dallas auditions episode... and nobody symbolized this better than 23-year-old Erica Rhodes, who will now be known as the girl who sang the "Barney" theme song while carrying a whip.




Wearing a short latex dress and knee-high boots, Erica, who performed En Vogue's "Free Your Mind," made it quite clear that she is no longer the little girl who once appeared on the show about the kind-hearted purple dinosaur. But Erica also has a wholesomely pretty face and a big voice to go with her bad girl act … a winning combination that could take her very far in this competition.
