IDOL WATCH: Did Voters Send Home the Right Contestants?

Disgusting that producers influenced Alex to sing a song that wasn't in his heart, thanx for screwing him :( He was the best thing on idol this year, a unique and amazingly talented, sweet soul. Make things right and Bring Back Alex, the people have spoken!!!

fox lost signal and the votes didn't get through like they should have. I was so angry that night, not to mention the next night about falling out of my chair when alex had to leave. It really made me sick and had no interest in watching the show anymore.

Tim Urban is the weakest of all the singers. All the little teeny booper girls got him in.

I am still mad that Alex did not make it. I wanted to continue to see his transformation, as he had grown in the past two weeks. I also liked Katelyn. Wasn't a big fan of Lilly, but she was a lot better than Paige and Lacey.

Lilly Scott was one of the most talented singers on the show and you’re telling me the ones who made the "Top 12" are better? NO WAY!! Half those kids can sing a lick and a couple that stayed I mute when they come on. I can’t stand them or their so-called singing. If I was a record producer I would sign Lilly Scott TODAY!! And she would have a smash hit album out in 6 months while the rest of these Idol wanna-bees are looking for work or flipping burgers someplace.

One more thought: If Crystal Bowersox does not win this show they should just fold up the tents and call it a wrap. NOBODY can hold a candle to her and her singing abilities. Nobody that's left that is...!

Yes, and No. Yes regarding the girls. No regarding the guys. Alex Lambert should have stayed. He has a unique voice and style. I hope he gets a recording deal. I'd like to hear more of him. Same goes for Casey James, although I do not feel he should win. I hope Crystal wins! I look forward to her CD. I know she'll get a recording deal, even if she doesn't win.

Based on their LAST performance..... I think Todrick and Lilly should've definitely stay!!!! Lets be honest, they were better than their competition.... I'm sad this show is no longer a "SINGING" competition....

Chrystal should win all the marbles. She's head and shoulders above all the others; clearly the most talented. I'd love to hear her and Taylor Hicks sing a duet. Ellen DeG should be eliminated next!

Urban should not have made it in the top 12. I wanted Alex Lambert to make it in. He is way better but just a bit nervous. Lilly's version of Patsy Cline's song was horrible in my opinion...that is probably why she didn't make it, even though I wanted her to.

Ok, American Idol has turned into a joke! Lilly, for one, is incredible! Her stage presence and voice are unbelievable. Also, that little red haired girl Lacey should have never come close to the top 12, as well as D D and Paige. Both the girls cut last night are a step above all of them. And please tell me how Tim Urban makes it in??????? He can't sing at all! Both guys cut last night, Todrick and Lambert, have waaaaay better voices then that little Aaron kid and Urban combined. Urban is an f'in joke. I wanted to break shit in my house last night while i was watching the show. Terrible.

Good call on the guys.....But don't diss my DiDi....I think she brings a very good and unique singing voice to the competition. the girls are all much stronger than the guys for sure this year.

I think that the strongest performers did make the top 12 and also some weaker, but they will be weeded out early on. I feel that it is would merely a have been a matter of weeks for those who did not make it. Lily was a surprise, however, I felt that although she is unique and very talented, American Idol is not the right venue for her.

Lilly ans Chrystal are the only truly talented girls on the show. Lilly should still be there.

Definitely Paige is the weaker singer and the one with less potential to make a career of singing. Parents across America should take away cell phones that the tweenies used to jam the phone lines...let's get this back to being a true talent contest.

Paige should of gone and so should of Andrew. Both started out good but hasn't improved at all. In fact, Paige has shown she hasn't got what it takes. Lily had a poor song choice. I liked her voice but she cannot pull of a country song, her voice was horrible singing her last song she needed to be very careful with her unique voice. Katy has a wonderful voice but needs help with her song choices and seems to be losing her confidence. Wouldn't you?

I agree that I was shocked and saddened to see Lilly and Alex leave the show. They both were unique and very talented and I would have liked to see more of them. My favorites to win are Crystal and Siobhan and Lee and Michael. Randy is an idiot and I'm really sick of seeing Kara and Simon all touchy feely. It's sickening. They clearly don't like Ellen. Kara never looks at Ellen.

Paige and Katie should have gone home on the girls side. Neither one has had a strong performance since the show went live. Tim and Aaron should have gone home for the guys. Aaron is out of his league and Tim hasn't been strong with his performances

America judges on the same lines as everything else. Looks and ethnic lines. Some very good vocalists went home last night. Some not so good ones were left to go on.

So if Paige was white would she still be there? If Lilly was black would she have stayed so they could have a demographic-pleasing audience? Humm, good point. I have no idea how a couple of those boys and girls actually made the top 24?

I agree on Todrick and Katelyn but I am so pissed about Alex and Lilly. Tim should have gotten the boot cause he is not at all a strong singer. Alex had the talent he was starting to conqure his nerves. I loved Lilly I just don't understand how Paige or Katie made it over her where you listening to the same thing i was...I guess not America

Paige and Lacey should have gone home before Lilly. Alex may have been a bit shy but had much more potential than Tim. It is a shame. Voters should remember that this is supposed to be a talent competition.

Going by Tuesday nite's performance, Paige should have gone home before either Katelyn or Lilly tho' they would soon follow without alot of improvement. I'm glad Alex was voted off. He was too weak personally to handle everything and perhaps he can try again with a bit more experience on his side. I loved Toddrick's Queen song and the gospel spin to it. He'll find a place in the bizz somewhere!

I had Alex in the finals. I didn't expect Katelyn to win, but definitely figured she'd make a few more rounds.

Katie and Paige needed to go for the girls and Todrick and the 16 year old boy should have gone.

simon is the only 1 on the show who tell's it like it is,randy changed somewhat and the 2 woman/man might as well stay home cause they are an absolut bore.......bring paula back. unreal the way america voted last night,the black chick was not good enough to come back......o well
