IDOL WATCH: Crystal vs. Lee — Who Should Be America's Next Idol?

to be honest, i stopped watching after tim urban got voted off...lee is a close second tho

I think Crystal had better performances on the final show, but I want to see Lee win. I think he's got more potential and I think he's got a better voice.

Neither are that great, but Lee is better.

I'm sorry, but I think the whole thing was set up when Lee was given Beautiful Day to perform. I thought the original U2 video was boring. I think Lee will win, if not tonight, in future record sales.

crystal deserves the crown. don't know if she'll get it, but she certainly has earned it.

Crystal was the run away winner from very early on. As the season progressed it became even more obvious and there was just not that much competition, people lost interest and the ratings were dropping due to this lack of competition. I think "they" told Crystal to back off a bit the last few weeks (don't worry you won't be voted off, save yourself for a blowout performance on the final night for the big win) hoping to bring ratings back up by making it seem like Lee or someone else really had a chance. In reality, Lee was the only one even close to her.
I really like Lee but last night she killed him by bringing back her A-game, especially her last song.
I think Americans are genuinely attracted to her eccentricities which make her very interesting and her background which sort of makes her an underdog and of course her superior vocal abilities convince me that she will be the winner of this season.

All around, Lee is the better singer and performer. He has shown this throughout the competition. Crystal is very good and she will do great as an artist and a mother. But you have to give it up for Lee for his consistent voice and performances. His styling remind me of Springsteen but with a better voice.

In answer to Adrianna enlightment on Crystal is pure ignorance. Maybe Adrianna shoud look in the mirror on how ugly her soul looks right now. Crystal and Lee are beautiful people and both deserves to be there.

I picked Crystal straight out of the gate from her initial audition. Lee is great too, I think they will both be extremely successful. She's not cookie cutter, she brings something different to the table that makes me want to hear more. But good luck to both of them!

Luckily, this is the last show that we will have to endure looking at the biker skank's teeth...or what is left of them. She does not deserve to win at all. She is trash and needs to go back to her biker world and sing for drinks like the skank she is.

Lee is not that great of a singer, but at least he is not common trash.

A jealous kid? Ummmm...no, but definitely an adult that has the brains to keep her teeth from rotting out of her head. Crystal might be the sweetest person in the world, but a biker chick and unwed mother, with matted hair and rotten teeth who hangs out in subways playing music for spare change, does not warrant the title of American IDOL. Do you really want your daughter to look at her as a role model? My guess is that if most of the people on this board saw someone like her on the street, they would avoid her like the plague. Of course, you would probably avoid me too, but it would likely be because I am a hate filled jealous kid heading straight to hell.

No ... I'd much rather have a hate-monger like YOU as a role model! Your daughter must be very proud of the kind of woman you are! Your heart is so black with envy and pride, you can't even consider that a DEAF PERSON could not deny which singer is BETTER (BEST)! Wow, envy and pride. Maybe you should go back and read my posts again. Trust me, there is no envy and pride there. My opinion is based purely on the fact that Crystal (aka. the biker skank) is clearly NOT anyone that should be elevated to the status of IDOL in any sense of the word. As I said, she might be a very nice person and she clearly has talent, but her life choices have made her someone that should not be heralded as an IDOL.

If you would stop for a minute and try to figure out what I am saying, I think you would probably realize the point I am trying to make. You might not agree with it, but the knee jerk reaction to my inflammatory words only makes you look like a foolish and emotional person.

Honestly, I think this season's "talent pool" was the worst. I really just picked Lee because I like him a little better.

Crystal should win but like last year, the one deserving will not win. Most the polls says Lee will win

Lee managed to make himself more interesting instead of less interesting - once he got over the stage fright he took off to a whole new level. Crystal is good - very, very good - but I really think that harmonica makes her look like a 1 woman band plus she could have changed up the words a little to Maybe Im Amazed to make it gender correct. With her being a songwriter and all, it shouldn't have been that difficult.

I kind of get the feeling that Crystal doesn't really want to win.

I honestly think they are both very good and that either one would represent Idol well.
But, if I had to vote for one, it would be Lee.

I really like both of them but thinking Crystal will win the Title...either way they both have an excellent future ahead of them.

I think both are nice people, but I really think Crystal is more musically talented. I also think she is a different sort of musician from any of the other idol winners and I'd like to see someone like her win.

I've always liked Lee and thought he'd have a chance at winning. He's got potential and he's got my vote!

I have mixed feelings about who should win because I love both of them. They are so talented and nomatter who gets it either one of them will have a career because of their talent and exposier. I'm leaning more toward Lee winning simply because I have felt many times Crystals life is a bit more complicated because of her having a little one at home and maybe her not being able to see him as much, she seems to have been sad alot of the time or her mind really not focused so much because of that even though she has always given a good performance in my openion.

i truly believe crystal should win. shes held her own through this whole season. lee is good but just came into himself. so i think crystal deserves to win.

Lee was my favorite from the beginning. However, I will be happy with whomever America picks...they are both wonderful. :^)
