Fourth place is not too shabby, especially for a shy 17-year-old. Aaron, you earned every week you stayed in the competition, and you always kept it clean and classy. Bravo.

She went further than we would have expected. With her strange outfits, oversized glassed and outrageous hairdos, she broke the “Idol” glass ceiling for quirky girls. As Simon said, she’s a “funny little thing.”

The always-smiling tween heartthrob made the Top 24 only when another contestant was forced to drop out, and he got farther than most had predicted, especially given how the judges slammed him week after week.

Katie has a lovely voice, but she needs to do a lot of growing up before she can compete with the likes of Siobhan Magus and Crystal Bowersox.

We were relieved when voters finally ended Andrew's increasingly painful Idol run. Too bad we had to lose Katelyn and Lilly before Andrew got the ax.

We were furious that Tim Urban and Andrew Garcia made the Top 10, while voters sent Alex home. Even though his adorable mullet is gone, Alex still has a special place in our hearts.
