I was hit from behind in a bar, refused medical care and was arrested for public intox, taken to hosp. then jail, two days later, bar said I did no wrong, they have video, only know the guys first name - what should I do, gonna get a huge medical bill?

If you got finger printed the first thing you need to do is have that police record expundged, if video is available then use it for your defense.

The bad thing is usually you have to fill out paperwork and also pay the courts to do this even though it was proved by video you did not do it. The courts love the money.

Unless you can work it out with the cop who arrested you and see if they can have it done for free, but whatever you do with them make sure you get copies of everything and put it in a safe place.

I'm sorry you think it's funny, I'm trying to get the order in which to go first, trust me someone is certainly going to pay my medical bill. Also I couldn't fit all the details in the question field.
