I think Elvis influenced more musicians and Micheal Jackson influenced more dancers. What do you think? Who do you think deserves to be the poet/philosopher of 1960s rock Dylan,Morrison, or Lennon?

Both were gifted in all areas of musical performance art : dance, arrangement,
songwriting, etc. Elvis wrote a lot of gospel songs and everyone knows Micheal
Jackson wrote many songs including "We Are the World"
I dont know enough about Dylan so Im not even answering the question
about which hippie songwriter deserves laurels.I need to study Dylan further and
listen to him further.I also need to read Lennons writings and not just listen to his music.I think some of what Lennon wrote was written in the Cockney dialect which
is comparable to Ebonics and appalachian dialect.I bought a copy of Lennon In
His Own Write for someone but didnt read it.Id have been mean to do so because
it wasnt for me.

Oh and Elvis has also been credited with influencing the stage mannerisms of the black artists of his day. Elvis even influenced Michael Jackson with his dance moves.
songs like Mindgames and Imagine were done 1st by Morrison in songs like When the Musics Over and We Could Be So Good Together. All Along the Watchtower basically says the message of Instant Karma in many ways.Lennon is less obscure with his imagery
although perhaps that makes him more of the people. It doesnt make him 1st though.
