Before you genre blast it, let me explain something. The style of this song is called minimal techno. We DJs simply call it "minimal." It goes with the theory that less is actually more. It's purely psychological. Because of repetitive and simple beats, the mind actually has room to make up the rest of what it wants to hear. It would be like a looking at a minimal art piece. Also, the song has a long intro and breakdown just for the puroses of live mixing (like and extended edit.) Anyway, this song is called "Earworm." Please enjoy! There are many reasons why artists want their songs to be stolen/pirated/obtained for free. Artists make thier money from live events. Most artists make a dime from an album that sells for $15. The record company takes the rest, BUT the record company is the one that mass distributes the album. Most artists want you to see them live. That's where the money is in the long run. Example: The Black eyed Peas make jack off the millions of albums they sell. They make MILLIONS when they tour 50 cities and pack 20,000 people each show. Those people are paying $100 a ticket. Do the math, its too much for me to count. lol. For me, though, personally, I just want my music to get out there any way possible. I don't care if people buy it, steal it, rent it, or whatever. I just want it out there because i love doing it. Money can come later.

I'm kind of hoping it gets stolen. lol! I offer free downloads on Soundcloud.com. I use Cockos Reaper. Its pretty much like Cubase. I create alot of my own samples, run them through some plug ins, render them, then loop them. There's some deep bass in the hook of Earworm. I also make drum n bass and ambient, although minimal is where my dedication is at right now.

I'm hoping MY song gets stolen. Your song isn't showing up because i am at work and all I see is a big empty space right after the words "LIKE THIS:" I'll check out your song as soon as I get home. Unfortunatley, I have no internet on the pc with the studio monitors and sub. Nevermind, I can hook my wife's laptop up to my system. I'm considering getting Ableton's apc40, which also comes with Live. But, i am so used to Reaper when it comes to making music.

Kind of. I'm trying to get on a local label here in my city so I'm trying to get a little pre exposure. It's hard to get anything done with so much saturation of dubstep.
