In a previous quesion of mine, "What will you do this Halloween?", a recieved a long rant which started off with how witches sacrifice one of their own to Satan on Halloween. Witchcraft and Satanism, if you research them, have little to no connection. Also, this user quoted the bible to support his theory, but I find that the bible contradicts itself at many points. I responded to this rant and blocked the user.
Still, I feel like sort of a douchebag. This could have been someone very young, and it was low to dis the bible, because I try to respect different religions as much as possible. What do you think?

Yes.
Sometimes, people just need to lighten up. You asked a simple question about partying which ended up being a platform for his religious views. When people get the message of God, some of them need to know when to hang up the phone.View thread

If you can't come to a mutual understanding, and the person continues to be a silly idiot, then you can get a few giggles upon reading their asinine replies.

No.
No.
I agree with Jim, it sounds like you blocked him because you disagreed.
Thanks for responding sensibly. Jim was being sort of hypocritical in his comment, but yours makes sense. I'll be sure to be more patient with people in the future.
Yes.
Yes.
I block people too, frequently in fact. If I don't want to be bothered with people being either hateful or idiotic, I have the right to not have to deal with them. If I don't call my dad, who I love very much, because I don't want to be preached at, why should I have to deal with people I don't know or like preaching at me online?
No.
I freely block a lot of people, but not for merely disagreeing. I block them for blaspheming the Bible, God, Jesus, or the Christian faith. I also block them for false representation of any of the above if they refuse to correct their error after given an opportunity to do so.
It does not matter the age of the person because if they are old enough to comment they are old enough to check out the facts before they pronounce them as truth.
In your case I cannot say except based on what you have written here it sounds like you just did not want to hear the persons beliefs. I suspect this to be because you are prejudiced against the Bible and falsely believe it to not be the record of truth and fact that it is.
Disagreeing is not grounds for blocking in my opinion. Many other things are.
I was totally SHOCKED to see your age as 35! Are you sure that is not 15?
Since I'm really not interested in your drivel I'll save us both the trouble and block you now.
I was trying my best to disagree with that guy without being disrespectful, he had no call to insult me, I didn't really insult him.
I don't have to deal with insults, my son does enough of that, thank you very much. I blocked Jim of course.
I just realized he sat there insulting me, then he blocked me..typical Christian on this site...HYPOCRITE
I hope you blocked the guy
