I am sad she is gone also. I thought she had a very beautiful and powerful voice, definitely one of the best singers of our times. But on the flip side of that, I was not a big fan of hers, I guess because of her personality. I saw a couple of her interviews and I thought she was kind of arrogant (AKA Diana Ross, whom I definitely don't like) and I guess that kept me from being a true fan. But I had the utmost respect for her as a singer and even as an actor (The Body Guard, Waiting to Exhale and The Preacher's Wife) and I am sad she passed away.

Whitney was a fantastic talent. The BodyGuard was a really good movie. I enjoyed it and watched it several times. She had a one of a kind voice.

I've seen people kill themselves with drug abuse. Not "judging" it and pretending it doesn't exist is as much a problem as turning your attention away from someone being beat.
