I was really just impressed with most of how the Actors played marines so well... Even though there were some scenes I disagree with.... And the logic behind the aliens...like for example... where did they come from? Considering that their air craft were barely able to fly... And how did the aliens plan to get back to their planet? Or what? So I would like to see a sequel.... With the same actors that survived the first one.... As these actors were just fantastic... Mr Aaron eckhart in my opinion was fantastic as a marine actor.... Any one have any ideas on a part two? Any other fans here?

+1Haha I hear ya. I still like watching "platoon" and older flicks like those. And of course Full Metal Jacket.reply - Kat 2013/04/07 02:16:01comment+1It was good, be interesting to see another.reply

+2Yeah I just liked how they actually took the time to learn how real marines act...it wasnt perfect but was for sure well acted out.reply - Kat SteveMa... 2013/04/07 03:44:25
+1Better than a lot I've seen in that respect. Some are absolutely phony because they act more like gang bangers than marines.reply -
+1Yeah thats very true. There is a certain way we do things and this movie was way closer than most movies ive seen. full metal jacket was pretty damn good too.reply - Kat SteveMa... 2013/04/07 03:51:41
+1Yes, full metal was a good movie also.reply -
To be honest I prefer some of the older movies over some of the newer ones. They just seem so damn fake.reply - Ben 2012/05/31 19:05:11comment+2Battle: LA was a great movie. I loved the combat tactics they used and over all it was a legit war flick. I wouldn't care to see another unless it was Battle:New York or Memphis, or London or something like that.reply

+2Yeah London has been scouted out for the movie.reply - TheTruth1313 2012/05/04 06:15:29comment+2I LOVED that movie.reply

+3Yeah I've heard conflicted statements on that movie. I don't think some people realize it was a documentary style film.... The actors in my opinion did a great job of being marines they even trained at a marine base for a few weeks with DI and everything.reply - TheTrut... SteveMa... 2012/05/05 06:30:18
+2Everything about that movie was spot on perfect. I thought it was definitely Oscar worthy. And you are right, the acting was amazing.reply -
+3Yeah I agree. While there was a few things that bugged me about the unit deployment but over all I can't hardly wait to see Aaron Eckhart play in part 2 I mean the guy was bad ass.... And if I didn't know better I would have said he was a real marine... Damn good actor.reply - TheTrut... SteveMa... 2012/05/06 07:14:23
+2Absolutely. He practically had me in tears when he recited the names and numbers of the men he'd lost to his late friend's brother. Actually, Eckhart has a pretty impressive body of work. Very talented.reply -
+2Yeah he has had some good appearances...how ever In this movie he was finally able to be #1 primary character. Any ideas on a part two? Or heard and rumors?reply - TheTrut... SteveMa... 2012/05/07 07:09:14
+1Actually, this post was the rumor for me. Yeah, Battle:LA was Eckhart's best role. However, he did a great job with the lead in "Thank You for Smoking" Have you seen it?reply -
+2Never did see that one... Eckhart had already mentioned he wanted to make a part two... Back last year. But I've read there is a script being drafted for a sequel... I'm just hoping for a sort of a short series maybe 3 but I want them to keep them good....problem with sequels a lot of times they suck.... I just hope they do this right.reply - TheTrut... SteveMa... 2012/05/08 07:43:34
+2I hear you there. I'm fine with them taking the time to come up with something good.reply - jacob crim 2012/05/03 22:48:08 (edited)comment+1What did you like about the film? To me it was without a doubt one of the worst films I have ever seen and I can give you multiple reasons why. If anything I would like to see a District 9 sequel.reply

+1The way the actors actually took the time to learn how to be marines...and took the time to act accordingly. I enjoyed the whole thing.... Some parts annoyed me..like the lack of real thought into the Aliens... Why didn't you like it ?reply - jacob crim SteveMa... 2012/05/03 22:58:56
+1I thought the acting was god awful and the dialog was often corny. Like the scene when the lady was like "LET ME LOOK AT THE ALIEN, I AM A VET" really? When you were taught how to treat dogs and cats you were also taught how to take care for aliens? The action was awful, generic explosions and fire fights with shaky cam. The aliens were awful, did they have giant mushroom heads? Their technology was awful, their guns looked like they shot bullets and that stupid missile launcher thing sucked. The fact that the aliens came to Earth in a giant pile of garbage was the best part though, I was laughing so hard at their mothership.reply -
+1Well as a vet she was given basic medical school training ...and the extra ability to sort of spot things that me as a marine wouldn't know what I was lookin at... It was filmed as a documentary style film that's why the camera was shakey at times..... I didn't like the Alien make up...or their ships....as it just made no sense how those air craft could possibly survive a flight from some millions and billions of miles away galaxy to earth.... But I enjoyed how the realisation was in how marines would deploy...the command control thing I don't think was meant to be the mother ship.... More of a central command station...reply
