Howard Stern Rips Britney Spears as 'X Factor' Judge: Do You Think She'll Bring Anything to the Table?

She's a ditz! Having said that he is pretty lame himself.

Like him or not he, he has a point. She can't sing very well. She lip syncs (or mimes) every concert; thus, she can't give any advice on singing live. If she is only dancing, she is not as good as professional dancers. Lets be honest here, she is a puppet for the music industry. They write all her songs (although she can get some credit for 1 line), choose the expected biggest hits, fit the song to her current image, show her the dance moves they want her to use and tell her to sing it in the studio 1000 times, then add autotune, etc.....and people wonder why she had a breakdown. I feel sorry for her really, but doesn't mean that I think she is talented.

I think Britney would be a terrific judge. I think that's mean for Howard Stern to put her abilities down. Britney knows about the music industry, and she would be a good judge.

Unless you count teaching them how to lip synch. If I remember correctly, some of last season's performers had trouble with that.

That said, Howard Stern may want to shut it. He's just as easy to rip as a "talent" judge.

Howard Stern, doesn't need to bash Britney,she had some issues and is still learning and growing.Life can be tricky sometimes and Britney has to find her way.My heart went out to her when she had her nerves breakdown,she got dupe by someone who she thought loved her, but he was in it for the money. Britney has been through alot, and I'm glad she made it through! Shout out to Britney!! Britney doesn't need "X Factor" with Howard Stern "Ignorant" behind,he'll say anything! Good Luck Britney!

Britney Spears is the perfect X-Factor judge. She's been there; she's released hits, got them to number one, dealt with paparazzi, dealt with criticism. That's what a contestant needs; someone who can give them advice.

Howard has done his job and done it well for the past 30 years. He is great judge of talent and thats what this show is about. What is Britney Spears? An almost has been who cant quite get her stuff together to be back on top. How is she qualified to judge when she hasnt made the best choices herself.

Howard is nothing but a loud mouth radio personality. He cannot sing, dance or act and at least Britney has had some music hits, I would take her any day over that mental midget

There should be an un-known at this time answer here.. LOL.. Because the reality of this is that only time will tell... She does have the history and talent to be a judge, but what kind of a judge.. Well, we will have to see because she is/can be wishy washy at times yet she can be serious at times.. It just depends on how she shows up.. And Britney definitely does bring a sexy body to the stage, We will have to wait to see if the writers and producers use it or not..
As for Howard.. I actually think he will make a pretty good judge.. Why, of course he has the talent and history behind him as well.. but more importantly, he is one of those guys like Simon who will/is not afraid to tell it like it is.. That is what is needed here, which I haven't really gotten into American Idol in years.. I have seen several of the past several weeks of Idol now ***just cuz I am out of town at my brothers house and they all watch it**** You have Steven, Randy, and J-Lo.. Every week they seem to be blowing sunshine up these contestants asses.. and several of them just suck, yet they continue to tell them what a great job they have done and are doing.. Yet, this past week some blonde chick supposedly got voted off, yet she was actually the best one there.. She had the best voice, held the notes that needed to be held and did a pretty good stage presentation.. So I don't know what anyone was thinking on that one..

She knows how to perform, how to sell records and how to survive in the industry - she's perfect for the job.

how so, she has bombed many a time, She has not been able to survive, otherwise she would not have failed so miserably.

Well since everyone knows her name and she's made millions of dollars from her records AND she's now been invited to judge the X factor or whatever it's called, she's obviously survived in some way.

Survived but barely living, They want a girl who could not keep it together and do her job judging talent?

She's keeping it together quite well lately. She knows how to sell records. That's what this show is all about.
