Personally, I would prefer it to my school's current problem. There is nearly no enforcement of the dress code, so some girls end up showing way too much skin >_< And you can express yourself through your actions, not just your clothes!
No different than I do now...? Seriously, speaking as someone who's worn one since the age of four it isn't the end of the world. In fact, it's the beginning - you need SO many less clothes and you don't have to decide what to wear every morning...
When I was in middle school we basically did have uniforms. We could only wear four colors and a couple types of shirts. I heard they had a gang problem so I understand why we had it, but I hated it the whole time. I threw all of those clothes out once I went into high school.
I went to Catholic school for 12 years. It was nice. There was no hierarchy of who could afford what clothes, you didn't have to worry about what you were going to wear, and you could concentrate on the important things about school.
I dont have uniforms yet in my school but in two years i will and i think it might stink. You have to buy a lot of different and exspensive clothes and shoes and you cant express yourself. You have to wash your clothes almost everyday and most uniforms have dull color that dont express most people. Even though some kids dress in clothes with bad language doesnt mean you have to make uniforms you can just ban clothes with bad launguage do you really wanna wear this?
I live in the Bloomfield district we DO have uniforms. It does stop the teasing about what people wear cause everyone is the came, but I do think that if we had a good dress code (because our clothes were revealing) then we wouldn't NEED them.
It would stop the whole thing where kids judge each other based on which designer brand your wearing, if any. But on the other hand, it might be hard to find your friends if every one is dressed the same. IDK...
I am not in school anymore. But I always thought that it would be a good idea. It would be less expensive for parents in the long run and then there wouldn't be a need for a really strict dress code. And there wouldn't be as much teasing
uniforms *gag* who the f*** wants to wear uniforms skinny jeans tight tshirts and a jacket thats me u wouldnt catch me dead in a uniform at school .. unless its role play ;) lmao jk
everyone have their own style
