Depends on what size the paper is.
Omfg, it's true, only about 6 times without hurting yourself.
How many times can you fold a piece of paper in half?

For a while it was believed that it was impossible to fold a piece of paper (no matter size or thickness) in half more than seven times. Many mathematical equations were done to try and prove/disprove this. Currently a girl named Britney Gallivan holds the record for folding a piece of paper 12 times. HOW MANY TIMES CAN YOU FOLD IT?
[edit]
According to wikipedia, "Folding a piece of paper in half 100 times, if it were possible, would produce a stack of paper approximately 8×10^22 miles in height."
8x10^22 miles = 13617944576.929 lightyears.

Johnny "Nihasa" Robinson 2009/07/03 07:08:30Are you seriously asking me to fold paper?

If I unfold it after each time, probably about 10,000 times before the paper or my wrist falls apart.

is this a trick question?
if its a square then 4 [i think]
Funny... I folded it so many times in half that it was the width of the known universe.... odd. lul
