Tebow is WORTHLESS!!! I'm so thankful Elway, Pat Bowlen and coach Fox got his a** traded!!! Whewww, what a effin worthless QB. Tebow might be an ok halfback or something besides a QB. I would be pi**ed if I was Sanchez especially with Tebow as a BACKUP QB having a effin press conference!! That is low class for a backup QB to have a press conference and have all this press BS. I'm betting what will happen is since most of the Jets players don't like Tebow, if he is inserted for Sanchez for a play here and there players will probably and hopefully intentionally miss plays, not catch balls from Tebow. I hope the Jets and the players make it clear that Tebow is a BACKUP and that's all he is cause he SUCKS!!!

Hopefully none. I think the Jets could have spent their money and draft picks a lot more sensibly than this. Nothing against Tebow personally, but I don't see where the Jets need him.

The number of games Tebow will start will be influenced by how healthy Sanchez is. And if Pat Robertson has any say in the matter, Sanchez will get hurt (should get hurt) giving the starter position to Tebow.

this was a stupid and horrible move in a jet's fan's perspective. mark sanchez is their starting qb and they brought in tebow as a backup. since when is the backup more famous than the starter? this has disaster written all over it because theyre gonna want sanchez's head if he doesnt play well and you're going to hear tebow chants everywhere. i think sanchez is the more talented qb in my opinion, tebow will not lead them to a superbowl. he's extremely overrated and overhyped, he's famous cause he's a bible thumper (i don't mean that in a mean way) and they won with him but tebow is nothing special. sanchez has won four playoff games, how many has tebow got? sanchez beat tom brady, tebow was overmatched. and sanchez just had an off year and your gonna rattle a fragile kid by bringing in some overnight celebrity? this trade is disgusting and im a jet's fan. i never wanted tebow. he's a joke.

Totally agree with you... Tebow is worthless. I'm a Broncos fan and it was the same out here in CO with all the Bible Thumping Tebow fans. Elway, Coach Fox and our Broncos owner couldn't wait to get rid of Tebow. Backup QB'S shouldn't have a press conference.I think what needs to happen is when Sanchez makes a bad play Rex Ryan needs to have a press conference and keep tellng fans and particular Tebow "Bible Thumping" fans that just cause Sanchez made one bad play won't mean at all that Tebow is going to be the starter. Also Rex Ryan needs to make it clear that as much as the Bible Thumping Tebow fans want Tebow to be starter their chanting is not going to influence Ryan in any way.

another reason why this trade is a disaster cause there are going to be tebow fans routing against sanchez wanting to break his leg or something. these arent jet fans, theyre tebow fans. this was a horrible move that made no sense. and im a jets fan.

Nada unless Mark Sanchez gets hurt, they may use him to run the the wildcat occasionally or on a fourth and goal situation but that's probably about it unless Sanchez really screws up. Sanchez just recently signed a 40.5 million$ three year contract while they only pay Tim Tebow 1.1 million$ per year..... you do the math.

The Jets spent so much on him; I think traing camp will be the deciding factor. Jets picked up the $5M the Broncos owed plus two fourth round draft choices. That is my guess ; )

Actually they ended up settling on splitting the 5 million with Denver, it almost blew up the deal from what I read? It seems the Jets overlooked the 5 million advance?

Compared to Sanchez's recent three year contract for 40.5 million no, it sounds about right for a back up quarterback by today's NFL standards.

I'm not a scout nor do I know the in & outs of NFL contracts. I just never seen this much hype over a backup QB; thanks. : )

He may never start, yet play in every game to mix things up with the wildcat formation. It could work well that way; although, I'm not saying that it will. Maybe sometimes they'll start with wildcat. If they can keep defenses confused and not knowing what to expect, they could do well.

If he is lucky I figure 3 or 4 depends how things go but I feel he got the short end of the straw and things being the way they are it is a dog eat dog world.
