The Associated Press reports that the house used in the hit 1990 film "Home Alone," located in a Chicago suburb, is being sold for $2.4 million.
The house is huge, but unfortunately it does not come pre-equipped with any booby traps, so you'll have to install those yourself for all those scenes you'd be crazy not to re-enact.
The realtors have so far refused to offer an open house. Probably a smart move.
The 4,250-square foot house sits on a half-acre lot in suburban Winnetka, about 20 miles north of Chicago. There are four bedrooms and it features the staircase that Culkin sledded down in the 1990 movie written by John Hughes.

Steverno~POTL~PWCM~JLA 2011/05/06 18:50:03No+7The price tag on the house, would be "too damn high".Not to mention, the property taxes would be outrageous too!

It looks like a lovely house but I'm sure I could get something better for that money if I had it!
Money DOESN'T grow on trees?
