We would have expected this (and far worse) from the likes of Lady Gaga or Rihanna, but when did Anne Hathaway start making bizarre fashion statements?
The "Princess Diaries" star promoted her latest movie in Los Angeles on Friday in a brown striped wool sweater, a pair of black harem pants covered in star-like studs and a gaudy necklace with what might as well have been a small pair of binoculars hanging from it.

Maybe the, uh, exotic outfit was supposed to go along with the theme of the movie she's promoting, "Rio"?
Whatever the case, it certainly grabbed our attention, so it was at least a success in the promotion department.
