Hip Hop or Rock and Roll?

Let me note that in Hip Hop music, alot of the sound is put in by computers and shit.
Rock N' Roll however, nothing in the music is fake. Its REAL instrument playing. Real sound and singing.

Just thought Id point that out.

I prefer Rock and Roll although I have been a fan of early hip hop, comparing the two is a bit redundant as they are both totally dynamically different however the attitude is similar in the early stuff

Hip Hop is an aquired taste. Rock N Roll is WAY more accesable and has a longer shelf life.

It was Eddie Cochran who first sang summertime blues and 50s rock and roll was closely associated with teen gang culture so in a way they have come from a similar place

You've obviously never heard any GOOD hip hop.

I like a lot of different types of music. Rock, metal, rap, blues, hip hop, grunge, you name it. But there are some really great hip hop groups and artists out there. It isn't ALL bad.

although there electronic music in the recordings, some hip hop groups have live bands backing them in their performances, just to be fair

and there is a such thing as computers and synth in rock too

but overall, i think rock is more enjoyable
