Sam Bradford, who played as the quarterback for the Oklahoma Sooners at OU, was the Heisman Trophy winner and says he's not ready to leave. Bradford is passing up a chance to be an NFL draft pick to stay at Oklahoma as a third-year sophomore because he won't leave the Sooners without a national Championship. Even after winning the Heisman Trophy, Bradford said that he had always dreamed about going to OU, and he doesn't want to cut his experience short just for a chance at the NFL draft. As well as staying to try and achieve a national championship, Bradford will have a chance to win another Heisman Trophy.
Should Bradford stay with the Sooners at OU, or should he go for the NFL draft?

Bradford should go for two Heisman Trophys and stay at Oklahoma.+4He needs to get his degree and then the NFL. Too many times, these kids get all excited and sacrifice their long term goal of getting a degree and a solid career for the quick buck & fame. It is not what it seems. One good hit and it is over.

Having that said, Oklahoma has been pumping out star quarterbacks who have no chance in the NFL for years (Jason White, Josh Heupel). Bradford, stay in school for as long as possible to get your draft value up as high as possible. That will be the only big contract you ever receive. You can count on that.
Besides, he'd end up going to the Lions anyway. I'm sure he doesn't want that.
They made the Heisman winning athlete and the Sooners look pretty bad..
GO OU! GO BIG RED!
I was under the impression that the rules for college sports were the same (or tougher) as the rules for high school sports: if you can't maintain an acceptable minimum grade point average, YOU'RE OFF THE TEAM until you bring up your grades.
I say kick him the f**k out of Oklahoma U and give his spot to someone with enough brains to appreciate the education!
