My Mum's 83 - she gave on me a long time ago....lol

I'm a parent of an 18 and 12 year old and Black Parade has been in my car stereo for months and months....keeps me awake on the school run. I LOVE I Don't Love You and Teenagers and Mama....and, well you get the picture!!

my mum only likes welcome to the black parade and she definately hates all of the other things i listen to,my mom still likes 80`s music!!!! some of the stuff iz good but the other stuff needs to b burned!!!!

She sings along to some of the songs XD

Although she does think that Gerard has a weird accent, but then again, we're from England and he's got the NJ accent...

She bought my sister and I tickets to see them on tour last year, she' an awesome parent. Plus, she thinks all this "war on emo" stuff is stupid, we've (me and my sister) listened to this genre of music, and done the dressing in tight jeans and whatever, and she doesn't worry about us cutting simply because we like mcr.

I avoid playing their songs near her now, however she has fun singing fall out boy at me xD

My mother is all the time saying that Gerard is gay becuase of hia make up, and she doesn't stop saying that MCR's music is satanic and for dead people. I know they were make up, and if they're gay, why do you care?! And because they say death in they're music that doesn't meen they are satanic or dead people's music, it just meens they are talking about death.

Mine too. She also thinks that if I listen to them, I'm going to get depressed and try to kill myself. Which is depressing in and of itself.

Yeah, my mother says that too! I get depressed out of anything, their music even helps to get over it, and she seems not to understand that. Is so frustraiting

She agrees with you... and it sure does keep life easier when we don't clash on music. The neighbors look at us a bit strangely though when we crank it up whils working outside on the yard - but thats a plus in my book! lol

and my mum likes th song welcome to the black parade and she also said tht if they were around when she was 15(my age) then she would listen to them

so my parents are kl about the bands tht i'm into my sis is totally different frm us lot tho cuz she's like into chavvy music but th rest of us r into rock and heavy metal and shit like tht
