My Mum's 83 - she gave on me a long time ago....lol
I'm a parent of an 18 and 12 year old and Black Parade has been in my car stereo for months and months....keeps me awake on the school run. I LOVE I Don't Love You and Teenagers and Mama....and, well you get the picture!!
Have your parents ever given you a hard time about listening to MCR?

Although she does think that Gerard has a weird accent, but then again, we're from England and he's got the NJ accent...
She bought my sister and I tickets to see them on tour last year, she' an awesome parent. Plus, she thinks all this "war on emo" stuff is stupid, we've (me and my sister) listened to this genre of music, and done the dressing in tight jeans and whatever, and she doesn't worry about us cutting simply because we like mcr.
*shrug*
especially when she exaggerates the "heart" when she sings "where's your heart" in Famous Last Words haha.
I avoid playing their songs near her now, however she has fun singing fall out boy at me xD
It's good that they know the songs...but annoying when they sing along lol.
