Given the use of real SEAL team members, I have heard the acting is sub-par. But what do you expect? They are trained as warriors, not actors.

Seen it. Just bought the dvd. Some of proceeds goes to a charity for military. Amazing story. we felt like we were actually in the thick of it, not knowing what's around the next corner just as they don't. It does give you even greater appreciation for the military and their families. I have friends who say it is just like that. The families hold it together when they are together but as soon as that door closes and the men are off, the wives breakdown. they don't want tears to be the last thing they see.

I saw it and it was really good. My boyfriends going into the Marines so he wanted me to go see it with him. and I admit, I was hesitant at first because it's not really my kind of movie, but I like it :)

Yeah, I just watched it last night, it had a very good story line, but it could have use a better cast of actors to carry the story. Also, Story seem to be rushed as though setup for some scenes were missing or to short, maybe as a result of budget.

I would have been kinda upset if I would have paid to see this movie in the theaters, overall I would rate this version a 7 star out of 10...JOMO

They were real navy seals because Hollywood always f*cks it up. Cut them some slack. They are good at what they do.

Thanks for that piece of Information, I was not aware of the cast being actual Navy Seals. With that heads up, I must say they did a great job.., so less not get it twisted I to was a military police so I will always give our service personnel their props.

Now that I have been enlighten.., I will give the movie a 10 star rating, now I enjoyed it even more...JOMO

Actually, I don't think that's a problem with me. I love what it's about. When I saw the trailers, I felt like it was sort of a Call of Duty video game, which I do play. It's just that it doesn't really catch my attention; although, I do admit that, if given the chance, I'd watch it.
