Definitely! Check them out at your library, if you can't afford to buy them and don't have someone from whom you can borrow them. I have all three books in hard copy, plus in e-format for my Nook, and also on CD, so I can listen to them in the car. LOL!

Read them all in a month before watching the movie. I absolutely loved the books and I'm already sad that I'm already done with a book series that I got hooked on after Harry Potter ended.

Another good series are the Percy Jackson and the Olympians, as well as the two other series by Rick Riordan, Heroes of the Olympians and the Kane Family Chronicles.
