Have you or your children seen the movie Born Free?

Did you like the movie?

I saw this movie when I was about 7 or 8, and it left a big impression on my life as I grew up. For children my age it was our first lesson on Afica...the forgotten continent. This was around the same time as Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and many of the other most famous Disney early non-animated films, such as Herbie the Love Bug. Shortly thereafter came the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Here is a link to great children's movies. Which ones did you see when you were a youngster?

Hey Tom. Recommend it for children especially. There's an element of child/mother in it that contains a very special lesson on life..

If you ever get to watch it, it might help to think of it as a children's movie, but it still gets me cold every time I watch it. If you have any, it will bring memories to the surface...
